It's a Sad Song...

Last week, I saw the musical, Hadestown.

It's an incredible piece of theatre that tapped my toes, made me gasp, and made me cry.

All performers and all singers can get on the ground and understand those lyrics.

These old tunes are in our bones. We know how they end. We know they might be tragic, or sad, or triumphant... but we sing it anyway.

We sing it again, and again, and again.

Songs fill our souls the way nothing else can.
